Professional Education
Yes, even Events Planners have some kind of education, despite what people may
say. It's not all fun and games, there are technical details and strategies to deal with.
History
I have been planning and organizing events since my high school years. I would
organize classroom excursions and facilitate in training students on the behavior do's and
dont's, safety measures, seat assignments and emergency awareness. During high
school I worked at the Dole factory grooming pineapples (I have yet to find someone who
grooms pineapples as well as I). After high school I got married and had no children. My
husband and I would entertain our friends and family during the super bowl, special
occasions and holidays. I soon became a part of the corporate rat race working like a
mull to excel up the financial latter. During those days, I orchestrated numerous
activities, which included corporate conferences, holiday parties, group excursions,
retirement parties, farewell parties, and bridal and baby showers. It was exciting, fun,
challenging and rewarding, but enough was enough! After twenty eight years working
my butt off, I quit my corporate job and went into my own business as an Events Planner.
And here I am, doing what I love to do, planning and organizing special events.

Extra Curricular Insight
I was voted one of the most popular in personality, not to mention Senior High School
Queen (yeah, I was an eye catcher is those youthful days of naiveté).
I made Honor Role almost every year during high school. It wasn't that I was a genius, it's
just that I developed solid relationships with my educators.
Okay, so the popularity and looks say nothing about my event planning skills, and nothing
can speak louder than the actual experience and benefit of my services.
To get what you have never had, you must do what you have never done.
