carry the grace, creativity and panache of Leslie Garcia-Furey, newly arrived from
New Jersey. Garcia-Furey's company, LGF Events Planner, announces its debut
season, offering multi-dimensional services to the social, private and corporate
sectors throughout the Palm Beaches.
Over 28 years invested in the corporate arena has given Leslie more than the

Garcia-Furey relates, "I produced a Winter in NYC theme for a corporate holiday gathering of
approximately 300 guests. The entrance to the dining hall was decorated as the Holland tunnel. The
hall was festively decorated with cascading lighting of shimmering white and blue against the
magnificent props, which gave the illusion of NY sidewalks and storefronts, trees with icicles hanging
from their branches, images of people strolling about and food vendors dressed in winter attire with
snow dust on their hats and shoulders. There were carving stations of roast beef, tenderloin, chicken,
and turkey, along with a seafood, sushi and dessert station. We had an open bar, a band and dancing.
Executives gave speeches with slide presentations. The favors consisted of a bottle of wine wrapped in
white and blue glittering nylon gift bags. A photographer was stationed outside in the hallway taking
instant pictures of attendees."
It was festive to say the least. "Like being in wonderland," Garcia-Furey fondly recalls. "Everyone who
attended had a spectacular time."
It is the experience and success of this very event, and many others like it, that LGF Events Planner
brings to the Western Communities and beyond.

her time and energies as a volunteer at the Alzheimer's Community Care, YWCA Harmony House,
Diabetes Foundation, and the Cultural Trust of the Palm Beaches. “It is such a rewarding experience to
be involved in areas that are close to home, and the opportunity to meet people of diversity is
endless,” comments Leslie Garcia-Furey.
She is also involved in professional organizations, which include the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm
Beaches, Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Palm Beach Executive Network, Palm Beach Network Group,
and Gold Coast Public Relations Council. “It is my way of building partnerships and sound relationships.
Everyone has something to offer in a strategic alliance.”
